This past Thursday, family and friends gathered together to give thanks for all that they have been blessed with. Everyone knows about Black Friday and Cyber Monday, however, recently a new global campaign called #GivingTuesday has launched. On Tuesday December 1, non-profits, families, businesses, students, and the Pacific Athletics staff will come together for a common purpose: to celebrate generosity and give to our Pacific student-athletes.
With over 10,000 organizations worldwide participating in #GivingTuesday, it is truly inspiring to see the effect it has on the local communities. People are giving in ways they never have to help celebrate the holiday season and make the city of Stockton and the University of the Pacific an even greater place.
On #GivingTuesday, Pacific Athletics will reach out to former student-athletes, family, friends, faculty, and staff to inspire giving and encourage a culture of philanthropy, all in an effort to better the experience for our current and future Pacific student-athletes. All proceeds directed to the PAF will go toward the PAF Impact Fund to enhance the Paulsen Family Champions Room. You may also designate your gift to a specific sport or project.
