PAF Fund Drive Blog- Day 4

Day 4 of the Fund Drive and we are hearing from some of our volunteers who are beginning to share information with their connections and finding new prospects.  Congratulations to Rick Paulsen and Leland Noma for each receiving upgrades from the renewal mailer that was sent out on behalf of each volunteer prior to the start of the Fund Drive!  We are officially on the board as a unit and on our way towards reaching our goal of $50,000!

Be sure to RSVP for the Fund Drive Report Session that was sent out earlier this week.  We need to be sure that we have the appropriate amount of lunch orders for everyone in attendance and do not want to overspend our budget. Our guest speakers for our first report session next week will be our Director of Athletics Ted Leland and our Tennis Head Coach Ryan Redondo.  We will have some important information shared at this meeting so please be sure to RSVP today!

Tip of the Day:  One of the keys to being successful Fund Drive volunteer is to reach out to as many people as possible.  The Fund Drive becomes a numbers game meaning the more people that you share the information with in the community will only increase your opportunities to attract a new PAF Member.  Once you have received some interest from any one of your contacts, be sure to follow up and focus on the needs of those who have shared interest and have been qualified.  Prioritize the ones with expressed interest to receive more attention in an effort to move further along in committing to a donation.  Move the contacts on your list who have yet to share an interest towards following up at a later date and do not expend much energy chasing a donor that is not qualified when you can focus on one who has already expressed a genuine interest.

As much as sales is a numbers game, it is also just as important that you are working with the right numbers (i.e. qualified donors with interest).
