PAF Fund Drive Blog- Day 7

Day 7 of the Fund Drive and we are currently behind last year’s pace at this time.  Currently, we are at $3,343 in new cash in comparison to $8,362 new cash at this time last year.  I know several volunteers have some strong donor prospects and it is only a matter of time before you are able to have them commit to joining us as a PAF member for this year’s Fund Drive so keep it going!

Big CONGRATULATIONS goes out to a few volunteers today:

  • Lee Neves for securing a new PAF membership today and submitting payment for the Kung Pow Pandas!
  • Christine Hankins for securing a new PAF membership representing Team Eye of the Tiger!
  • Leroy Minatre for securing our largest new PAF member to date with $1500 in new cash for Team Minatre Powercats!

We officially have four out of our six Fund Drive teams on the board with new cash as of today which is great to see in our first full week!

As an added bonus this week, the Fund Drive Volunteer who brings in the most new cash from today through Monday, May 8th at our next report session will be rewarded with 500 bonus points.   Also, anyone who is able to secure a new cash PAF membership by this Friday, May 5th will receive an additional 200 bonus points per donation turned in before 5 PM.

Tip of the Day:

One of the strongest ways for you to connect with our community is by sharing not only your reason for supporting Pacific Athletics, but also the story of the athletic programs that our Fund Drive impacts. Our women’s water polo team recently qualified for the NCAA Tournament and will play host to Pomona-Pitzer on May 6th at 11:00 AM here on campus.  The team is ranked #10 and is currently 20-8 having won 10 of its last 11 games.  Be sure to share these types of success stories with your prospects in order to connect them to Pacific Athletics and how each person’s willingness to join the PAF impacts the competitiveness level of all 18 athletic teams.
