PAF COACHES LUNCHEON

The November PAF Coaches Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, November 14th and will feature 4 of our Pacific programs including, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Men’s Water Polo and Volleyball. The program will include a short speaking engagement from each of our coaches highlighting their program along with a Q&A session involving our coaches and their student-athletes.

The Luncheon will take place at Dave Wong’s Restaurant located at 2828 W. March Lane from 11:45 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. and will include a “family style” luncheon setup. The cost to attend is $25 per person and all proceeds will benefit the PAF Impact Fund.

Damon Stoudamire – Men’s Basketball

Damon Stoudamire is entering his second season as the Pacific head men’s basketball coach in 2017-18 after being named the Tigers’ 22nd head coach on March 16, 2016.

In his first season at the helm of the Pacific Tigers men’s basketball program, Stoudamire helped the Orange and Black register their first-ever West Coast Conference Tournament victory as the Tigers beat Pepperdine to advance in the tournament.

The Tigers will host Bethesda in an exhibition game this Wednesday night before opening the season on the road at Stanford on Sunday, November 12.

Bradley Davis – Women’s Basketball

Bradley Davis is set to begin his third season as head coach of the Pacific women’s basketball program. Prior to being named the 10th head coach in program history, Davis served as the Associate Head Coach for three seasons under Lynne Roberts and was an assistant for six seasons before that.

The Tigers faced William Jessup last Wednesday in an exhibition game where they put on a clinic the led them to a 95-59 victory. They were led by sophomore, Jenelle Grant, who posted a double-double with 16 points and had 18 rebounds.

Davis and the Tigers begin the 2017-18 season on Monday, November 13 as they take on Cal State Fullerton in the Spanos Center.

James Graham – Men’s Water Polo

James Graham is in his 10th season as head coach of Pacific men’s water polo where he has built the Tigers into one of the nation’s elite programs.

The No. 5 Tigers are currently 15-5 on the season and clinched a share of the Golden Coast Conference regular season title on Friday with a 14-7 win over UCSB.

Next up, the Tigers will travel to No. 11 San Jose for a match on Friday before returning to Chris Kjeldsen Pool for the regular season finale on Saturday, November 11th against No. 9 UC Davis.

The Golden Coast Championships will begin on November 18th in Irvine, California.

Greg Gibbons – Volleyball

Greg Gibbons is in his 8th season as head coach of Pacific Volleyball. He was named Co-WCC Coach of the Year in 2014 and led the Tigers to a No. 23 ranking in 2015 after starting the season 9-2.

The Tigers are currently 12-13 on the season, 7-7 in conference play. They closed out October with 5 straight wins over WCC opponents, which puts them in 5th place in the WCC standings.

Pacific will end the regular season with a four-game home stand beginning on November 11th against Saint Mary’s. They will later face Gonzaga, Portland and San Francisco in the Spanos Center to close out WCC competition.
