TIGER TALK CONTINUES WITH ALUMNI SUCCESS STORIES

The Pacific Athletic Foundation continues their Tiger Talk series this upcoming Tuesday, September 29th with a special “Where Are They Now?” edition featuring three former Pacific student-athletes who have seen great success in their careers upon graduation.

Hosted by Zack Bayrouty, the voice of Pacific Athletics, this week’s episode will include former men’s basketball player, Warren LeGarie ’74, former golfer, Mark Sear ’85, and former volleyball player Angela Rosenquist ’00.

WARREN LEGARIE ’74

Warren LeGarie, a former member of the men’s basketball team from 1972-74, is currently the President of San Francisco-based WGL Management in addition to serving as the Executive Director of the Samsung NBA Summer League. Representing more than 100 players per season in various professional leagues, his career began as a player agent in Europe before he developed the vision that helped bring the Summer League to Las Vegas. Throughout the years, LeGarie’s practice eventually moved back to the NBA with the first influx of European athletes before evolving into his current practice of representing professional coaches and management personnel. Impressively, he also has the distinction of being the first agent of any kind to partner with the NBA.

MARK SEAR ’85

Mark Sear, a former golfer for Pacific from 1981-1985, is currently a managing partner at Evoke Wealth. Since 1993, he has served as a financial advisor to higher income families and institutional investors. Beginning his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co., Sear joined Merrill Lynch  five years later to help build the Private Banking and Investment Group. In 2008, Mark and his partners founded Luminous Capital, which First Republic Bank acquired in 2012. While at First Republic, Mark served as a Senior Managing Director. Overall, Barron’s and Forbes have perennially rank Sear as one of the Top 100 Wealth Advisors in the country.

ANGELA ROSENQUIST ’00

Born and raised in Stockton, Angela Rosenquist was a member of the Pacific volleyball team from 1997-2000, beginning her career with Boboli International, LLC in 2003. By 2011, she had worked her way up to become part-owner and vice president. After finding a passion in food production innovation and development, she continued her career as Vice President of Retail Sales for Sukhi’s Gourmet Indian Foods from 2014-2015. Most recently, she began working for InnovAsian, where she has once again quickly climbed the ladder as she is currently the Vice President of Sales.
