REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY TO PACIFIC MEN’S BASKETBALL GAMES AT SPANOS CENTER

Based on guidance from the California Department of Public Health, spectators attending Pacific men’s basketball games in the Spanos Center will be required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event’s start time beginning with the home opener on Tuesday, November 16. Home tests are valid only if it is connected to a digital app with a time stamp. The policy applies to all spectators over the age of two.

The California Department of Public Health is requiring this protocol for gatherings of 1,000 or more. Spectators that are 18 and over will need to show a photo ID, in addition to the vaccine record or negative test result.

Both PCR and antigen are acceptable forms of COVID-19 tests. A hard copy or digital record of test results which should include name and date of when test is taken is required. Fans under the age of two will not be required to provide proof of vaccination or testing.

Check points will be setup for spectators to provide proof of vaccination status or a negative COVID-19 test. The check points will be located near the main entry, Gate 1, across from Gate 2, at the west entrance to the Janssen-Lagorio Gymnasium, and at the Ticket Office Will Call located in the lobby at the west entrance of the Pacific Intercollegiate Athletic Center. For PAF members with access to the reserved parking in Lot 3 on Mendocino Avenue there will be a vaccine check point inside the Pacific Intercollegiate Athletics Center in the hallway leading to the Gate 3 entry to the Spanos Center.

In accordance with the State of California’s current indoor mask mandate, all fans, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear masks for events in indoor venues, including the Spanos Center.

For women’s basketball games, fans will be required to wear masks. Since attendance is estimated to be less than 1,000, a proof of vaccine will not be required.
