Over $135,000 Raised at Orange & Black Ball

(Stockton, CA, October 24, 2022) – The Pacific Athletic Foundation (PAF), recently celebrated the 23rd Annual Orange & Black Ball presented by Kaiser Permanente on Friday, October 14 in the Janssen-Lagorio Gymnasium. The annual event, which kicked off Pacific’s Homecoming & Family Weekend, attracted over 500 donors, alumni, and fans to support Pacific Athletics. This year’s celebration was a huge success including a record $100,000 in sponsorships and most dollars ever raised during the Fund-a-Need appeal!
The Orange & Black Ball, which has become one of the premier events in the community, began with the welcoming of all guests by Pacific’s student-athletes followed by an opportunity to mingle with coaches and staff, participate in a silent and live auction, sample a variety of beer and wine options from local vendors, enjoy a gourmet dinner, enter a raffle drawing, and listen to live entertainment to conclude the night.
The evening also featured a Fund-a-Need appeal to support a critical resource in college athletics – Nutrition. Optimal nutrition in conjunction with adequate rest and a sound mental state, play an enormous role in allowing our athletes to be able to perform at a high level all season long. Due to the generosity of the guests and thanks to a matching gift donated by Watts Equipment, a record $29,542 was raised to support this cause!
