2021 Orange & Black Ball Recap

The Pacific Athletic Foundation (PAF), who’s mission is to raise funds and generate revenue for improving the lives of Pacific student-athletes, recently celebrated the 22nd Annual Orange & Black Ball on October 8th at the Janssen-Lagorio Gymnasium. The annual event, which this year kicked off Pacific’s Homecoming Weekend, attracted over 550 supporters and leaders within the Stockton and surrounding communities.

The Orange & Black Ball, which has become one of the premier events in the community, began with the welcoming of all guests by Pacific’s student-athletes followed by an opportunity to mingle with coaches and staff, participate in a silent and live auction, sample a variety of beer and wine options from the area, enjoy a gourmet dinner, enter a raffle drawing, and listen to live entertainment to conclude the night.

The evening also featured a Fund-A-Need appeal to support the important issue of mental health and wellness of student-athletes, which has been a growing area of concern across the NCAA as well as in professional sports and society in general post COVID. Over $20,000 was raised thanks in part to matching funds donated by Watts Equipment.

Through the support of the community, the 22nd Annual Orange & Black Ball successfully grossed a total of approximately $245,000, while netting an all-time high of $150,000 for Pacific Athletics.
