Director of Athletics Annual Giving

Aaron Morales joined the University of the Pacific in the summer of 2016 as the Director of Athletics Annual Giving providing leadership for the strategic direction of the department’s annual fundraising efforts while serving as the Director of the Pacific Athletic Foundation (PAF) that supports Pacific’s 18 intercollegiate athletic teams.

Morales joins Pacific with a background in the sports and entertainment industry where he most recently served as the Director of Corporate Partnerships with the Stockton Ports baseball team between 2013-2016. During his three years with the Ports, the local Single-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, Morales was responsible for managing the sales, service, and activation of all corporate partnerships for the team. Morales was able to successfully lead the department in doubling new business revenue during his final year with the Ports while growing the overall revenue figures of the team in each of the three years under his leadership.

Prior to his position with the Ports, Morales spent 10 years with Maloof Sports and Entertainment overseeing group events for the Sacramento Kings and Monarchs basketball teams while managing all group sales efforts of the facility’s arena events which included Cirque du Soleil, Disney on Ice, Harlem Globetrotters, Professional Bull Riding, along with several other arena events. He began his career in Sacramento as an intern and eventually led the organization’s group sales efforts for six years as the Senior Group Sales Manager. Morales was recognized by the NBA/WNBA as the top group sales representative throughout the league in revenue and ticket sales generated for consecutive seasons between 2006-2007 and individually generated over $1.2 million in group sales during his final three years for the Sacramento Kings.

Aaron is a native of Stockton who graduated from California State University, Long Beach and received his Master’s Degree from the University of San Francisco.
