Another exciting day in the PAF Fund Drive as our overall number grew to $76,500! We had originally scheduled to release the standings today but a few late donations came in this afternoon. We have decided to release the standings tomorrow as they will be the most up-to-date!

Pay attention to the Stockton Record this Friday (hint – In the main News section)!

1) Tell us about yourself

I am 35 years old and a proud Stocktonian for over 20 years.  I am married and have two wonderful children (Marissa 5 and Derek 2 years old).  I grew up and went to school in Lathrop (East Union High School).  I own my own general contracting business (Pacific Construction) and my day to day operation is in the construction industry.  I also manage and develop properties as well as part of our business.  I am a huge San Francisco Giants fan and enjoy traveling with my family.

2) How did you become interested in Pacific Athletics?

I got into Pacific Athletics from Dean Goold (Past President) as we connected on other community action events I put together in town.  He introduced me into the Athletic Department as I enjoy sports and raising money for charitable organization.

3) Why did you decide to Volunteer for the Fund Drive this year?

This is my third year active in the PAF raising funds and I enjoy meeting new people and promoting Athletics in town to those who are not aware of any other sports venue in town besides the Ports & Thunder.  I have a passion in assisting those in need to help them succeed and make their dream a reality.

4) Why should someone join the PAF?

There are many reasons to join the PAF, and my perspective as a business owner it is great to network and understand those who are small businesses and how they can impact the Pacific community.  PAF is a great way to meet new friends and enjoy a variety of sports year round.  As a PAF board member and a volunteer for our fund drive has grown my views and aspect of how we can succeed as a team and achieve goals for those who are in need.  I am proud to say that I am a part of this and hope that many new members who join can agree the same.
