Congratulations to Lee Neves (CrossCurrents, LLC) and Renate Zilles (The Networkers) for securing two new donors ($750) today! The two new donations plus a few renewals bring our overall total to $91,000!

The standings for week 2 are updated http://https://www.joinpaf.org/fund-drive-workers/fund-drive-standings/. The point total reflects anything turned in April 21 – May 5. Congratulations to The Networkers (Vince Rosato, Patti Gulick, Henry Hirata, Ken Kjeldsen, and Renate Zilles) the leader after two weeks and Rick Paulsen for leading the Individual competition!

1) Tell us about yourself, briefly

I am a Pacific alum, Class of 2008 (Sport Management) and Class of 2010 (MA, Student Affairs). I worked in the department as a student employee and it was through my exposure to the people and the department as a whole that I was able to stay on a Grad Assistant and earn a Master’s Degree. I returned to the University in 2012, and currently work in the Office of Admission.

2) How did you become interested in Pacific Athletics?

Aside from working for Pacific Athletics, I have made many friends and connections through the department. Through my various roles I have seen just how hard the student-athletes can work and be successful both in the classroom and on the playing field. Pacific Athletics has played a huge role in my connection to Pacific not only as a student, but as a professional, as well.

3) Why did you decide to Volunteer for the Fund Drive this year?

The Fund Drive allows me to remain connected to Pacific Athletics, and also allows for me to give back to the University. I have seen first-hand the role that athletics can take in developing successful Pacificans while they are on this beautiful campus, but also when they leave here and are able to be Ambassadors to this great University.

4) Why should someone join the PAF?

Being able to connect with other people who are willing and able to help this place, and also because it allows us to give more opportunities to student-athletes to come here and be successful.
