1) Tell us about yourself, briefly.

I grew up locally and attended the same high school as Pacific softball coach Brian Kolze (Tokay High School) where we were also tigers. I earned my B.A. and teaching credential at Pacific in 2003 and graduated again (once a tiger, always a tiger) in 2012 with my M.A. in Education Administration and Leadership and Administrative Services Credential. I have taught for the past ten years and am now nearing the end of my second year in administration for San Joaquin County Office of Education. I enjoy attending Pacific athletic events, supporting the local community, recreational activities/sports, spending time with family/friends, and watching my nephew Bradley swing for the fences!

 2) How did you become interested in Pacific Athletics?

I was a student-athlete at Pacific (softball).

 3) Why did you decide to Volunteer for the Fund Drive this year?

This is my second  year volunteering for the fund drive. Becky Moffitt and I served on our classes 10-year reunion committee last year and she informed me about PAF. One of my personal goals is to volunteer more of my time to the community and I feel a personal responsibility to give back to Pacific. Some of my favorite memories were during my time at Pacific.

 4) Why should someone join the PAF?

As an alum, I feel it is one way to continue to support future opportunities and quality experiences for our student-athletes. It is also a great way to build our local fan base and contribute to the overall strength of the community. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed the positive impact of sports in a community. Game on!
