The Pacific Athletic Foundation (PAF) Fund Drive kicked-off on Monday, April 27 with 62 volunteers going into the community to secure cash donations to help support Pacific student-athletes. Top volunteers are rewarded with a variety of prizes including an away game trip with the Men’s Basketball team.
The PAF is dedicating the Fund Drive to long-time Fund Drive Worker, Board Member, and Supporter – Max Paulsen. Max has been a key part of the PAF for over 35 years:
• Helped found the PAF in 1970 and was the first Board President – he has remained on the Board ever since
• Max and his son Rick have raised well over $1 million for the PAF since 1970
• Inducted into the Pacific Athletics Hall of Fame in 1989-90
• 15 years ago, during a time when the PAF needed assistance, Max stepped in and volunteered as PAF Executive Director for a year and half
As part of the Fund Drive, the PAF will be promoting the campaign slogan “Above and Beyond” via social media, ads, etc. Check out the “Above and Beyond” can be see in the video below:
