The first PAF Coaches Luncheon of 2017 is set for Tuesday, January 10th at Dave Wong’s restaurant on March Lane from 11:45am-1:00pm. This luncheon will feature 4 of our Pacific Tiger teams, including Women’s Tennis, Women’s Soccer and Men’s and Women’s Basketball. The program will include a short talk from each of our coaches along with a Q&A with both our coaches and our student-athletes. Tina Samara – Women’s Tennis
Tina Samara was named the head coach of the Pacific women’s tennis program on June 16, 2016. Samara has 30 years of experience as a player and coach, including eight seasons as a head coach at Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Louisiana-Lafayette. As a player at Georgia, she helped the Bulldogs to the 1994 National Championship.

The Tigers will open the 2017 season January 20-22, where they will face New Mexico, Weber State and UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Kerri Scroope – Women’s Soccer

Kerri Scroope became just the second women’s soccer head coach at Pacific in Division 1 history of the program, which began in 1994. She joined the Tigers from Delaware State, where she spent three seasons at the helm of the Hornets, finishing as the most successful coach in the history of the program and winning two straight Independent Conference tournament championships.

Scroope has just concluded her first season with the Tigers, where they finished with a record of 1-15-1.

Bradley Davis – Women’s Basketball
Bradley Davis is in his second season as head coach, and his 11th overall season on the Pacific staff. The Tigers are currently 7-8 overall and 3-1 in West Coast Conference play with wins over Portland, Gonzaga and San Diego. The Tigers handed Gonzaga just their fourth WCC home loss in the last 42 games at the McCarthy Center.

Pacific sits at the top of the West Coast Conference standings alongside BYU and Santa Clara after splitting the weekend with a win over San Diego and their first conference loss to BYU on Sunday. They will face Pepperdine on the road this Thursday night.

Damon Stoudamire – Men’s Basketball
Damon Stoudamire has just began his first season as head coach for Pacific Men’s Basketball, which currently sits at 7-10 on the year. The Tigers picked up their first road win of the season on Thursday night at San Diego with a score of 56-53. Their loss at BYU on Saturday dropped them to 1-3 in WCC play.
Pacific continues conference play this week with a home game Thursday night against Pepperdine. They then head to San Francisco for a match up with the Dons on Saturday night. Tip-off is set for 8:00 PM.
