PAF Fund Drive Blog- Day 11
Thank you to everyone that attended today’s report session. We had a great turnout and had a great time listening to our guest speaker for the day, Head Swimming Coach Peter Richardson. His passion for UOP and success as a coach generates excitement for everyone on campus including his players who recently broke 23 school records this past year and had 17 student-athletes named to the MPSF All-Academic Teams. In addition, 44 swimmers from the men’s and women’s teams were named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation’s All-MPSF Postseason Team. We received some great questions from our volunteers and also received some great feedback over the course of the meeting and hope that it was helpful for everyone.
Each report session provides valuable insight that we can use in the community as shared by our guest speaker today and provides us with the connections that we can use in our own personal presentations about the impact of the Fund Drive. For example, Head Swimming Coach Peter Richardson shared an example on how he was able to use the iPads provided through our Fund Drive as an opportunity to share videos on swimmers in preparation for events and the Sparta Training Technology to prepare his students for the season. Attendance at the meetings is an important way to keep yourself up to date with all of the progress being made by our student-athletes and an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the impact that the Fund Drive has on all 18 of our athletics programs.
Tip of the Day: Be sure to use all of the resources we are able to provide over the course of the Fund Drive. Individuals and businesses join for different reasons and we want to provide you with as many resources as possible in order to be prepared for whatever objection or hurdles may come your way. I have attached the most recent package we have developed, specifically for businesses, that you can now begin to use and share with those businesses who are interested in receiving further outreach by joining the PAF.
