December Coaches Luncheon 12/12

PAF COACHES LUNCHEON

The December PAF Coaches Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, December 12th and will feature 4 of our Pacific programs including, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Men’s Tennis and Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving. The program will include a short speaking engagement from each of our coaches highlighting their program along with a Q&A session involving our coaches and their student-athletes.

The Luncheon will take place at Dave Wong’s Restaurant located at 2828 W. March Lane from 11:45 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. and will include a “family style” luncheon setup. The cost to attend is $25 per person and all proceeds will benefit the PAF Impact Fund.

Damon Stoudamire – Men’s Basketball

Damon Stoudamire is in his second season as the Pacific head men’s basketball coach and is currently 5-4 on the season.
The Tigers have won 5 of their last 6 games with their most recent win coming on Sunday afternoon over Arkansas Fort Smith with a score of 105-68. Pacific was led by freshman Lafayette Dorsey, who had a career-high 17 points. Jack Williams contributed 15 points and seven rebounds.
Next up for the Tigers is a rematch at UC Davis on Wednesday night. The cross-town rivals met up in November in a tight match up where the Aggies edged out the Tigers by four points.

 

Bradley Davis – Women’s Basketball

Bradley Davis is in his third season as head coach of the women’s basketball program and sits at 4-3 on the season.
Pacific hosted their annual Tiger Turkey Tip-Off over the Thanksgiving break where they earned a victory over San Jose State before falling to Brown the following day.
This past weekend the Tigers had a comeback win to defeat Lamar in the Spanos Center 80-75. Pacific was led by GeAnna Luaulu-Summers who had a season-high 24 points. Fellow senior, Desire Finnie, added 20 points and eight rebounds. On Sunday, Pacific fell to Northern Colorado on the road, 80-55.
Next up, the Tigers will travel to Fresno State to face the Bulldogs on Thursday, December 7th beginning at 7:00 pm.

 

Ryan Redondo – Men’s Tennis

Ryan Redondo is entering his eight season at the helm of the Tigers’ tennis program. In his first two years in the West Coast Conference, the Tigers advanced to the semifinals of the WCC Championship in back-to-back season and have 23 dual match wins.
In 2015-16, Redondo was named WCC Coach of the Year and coached the WCC Player of the Year in Sem Verbeek. Redondo guided the Tigers to a 14-12 record in 2015-16, including a 6-3 mark in WCC play and three wins over ranked teams.
The Tigers begin 2018 with matches against Fresno State and UC Davis on January 13th.

 

Peter Richardson – Swimming & Diving

Peter Richardson is in his sixth year as Pacific’s head coach of the men’s and women’s swimming & diving program. In 2016, the Tigers had a historic season that saw 23 school records broke, making it 43 total records broke in just five years under coach Richardson.
Both the men’s and women’s programs competed at the UNLV Invite November 16-18th where they broke six program records on the weekend. The men finished second in the team rankings with 737.5 points, while the women finished in third with 600 points.
The Tigers will take a break from competition until January 20th, when they host UC Santa Barbara on senior day.
