PAF Launches United We Roar Campaign to Kick Off Fund Drive

The Pacific Athletic Foundation Launches United We Roar Campaign

The goal of the campaign is to increase the PAF memberships from 385 to 1,000 by 2023

The Pacific Athletic Foundation (PAF) officially launches its new “United We Roar” campaign today as part of its annual Fund Drive in support of Pacific Athletics. The purpose of the “United We Roar” campaign is to increase the total number of PAF memberships from 385 to 1,000 by 2023 in order to grow the Tiger family and to build a unified community that supports our efforts to compete at a championship level. The funding raised through each members commitment to join the PAF will provide the necessary resources for Pacific Athletics and help prepare our Tiger student-athletes to achieve excellence in competition and in the classroom.

The PAF Fund Drive will take place over the course of the next six weeks through April 17th with a goal of $50,000 in new cash donations, as part of an overall goal of $425,000 for the 2020-21 academic and athletic year. The Fund Drive efforts are supported by volunteers consisting of alumni, former student-athletes, PAF board members, and community supporters who will be assisting the PAF in securing new cash donations to support all 17 athletic programs and over 300 student-athletes. Volunteers will be competing for prizes including a grand prize trip to the 2021 WCC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships in Las Vegas awarded at the end of the drive.

“We want the PAF and our campaign to become the common bond that our supporters can join and bring the community together like a family,” said Director of Athletics Annual Giving Aaron Morales. “Our student-athletes are consistently achieving unprecedented academic success and the recent athletic successes of our programs on a national level are a testament of what we can accomplish through the support of our community.”

As part of this newly launched campaign, the PAF has also redesigned its PAF membership benefits in order to maximize contributions and streamline the benefits to better serve and engage its community of supporters. Now, regardless of if you choose to support the PAF directly, or make a donation to a specific sport, you will be considered a member of the PAF and be eligible to receive the associated benefits including recognition on the PAF website and Game Day program, access to exclusive tickets and parking, invites to PAF events, pre-game hospitality access, Tiger Den access, and dinner with our athletic director to name a few.

Become part of the Tiger Family and join the United We Roar Campaign to reach 1,000 PAF members by:

  1. Becoming a PAF member and supporting the Pacific Athletic Foundation or specific sport at $100 or more annually.
  2. Volunteering for the Fund Drive and refer family, friends, and members of the community to join the PAF.
  3. Becoming an ambassador of the PAF by sharing the giving opportunities through the website and #UNITEDWEROAR on social media.
