Orange & Black Ball POSTPONED

(Stockton, CA, April 22, 2020) – Every year the Pacific Athletic Foundation (PAF) looks forward to connecting with its supporters and sharing its vision of the future for our programs at the annual Orange & Black Ball. This incredibly important event that brings together the community has become one of the premier events in Stockton and annually supports the PAF’s mission of raising funds and generating revenue for Pacific Athletics, while improving the lives of Pacific student-athletes.

Due to the growing concerns around COVID-19 and in the best interest of our community, the PAF has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Orange & Black Ball presented by Kaiser Permanente. The annual fundraiser for Pacific Athletics originally scheduled for Saturday, August 22nd, will now be held on Saturday, October 17th in the Janssen-Lagorio Gymnasium.

The Orange & Black Ball brings together 600+ of University of the Pacific’s most dedicated supporters each year and is essential to the financial support of the athletics program. Last year’s event raised over $100,000 for Pacific Athletics benefiting all 17 of our sports programs. “We are disappointed that we will not be able to celebrate the start of a new athletic year with our friends and supporters during this great event,” says Executive Associate Athletic Director for Development, Tim Dickson. “However, the health of the Stockton community is our number one priority. We want to be safe and we look forward to hopefully seeing everyone in October for an even bigger celebration!”

The PAF will continue to monitor the situation closely and remains committed to supporting our programs and student-athletes. For updates regarding the Orange & Black Ball, please visit our website, JOINPAF.org.
