Pacific Athletics Set for Rescheduled Hall of Fame
Two years after announcing the next class in the Pacific Athletics Hall of Fame, the University of the Pacific has rescheduled the induction event in conjunction with a planned football reunion weekend slated for April 29-30, 2022, on the Pacific campus. The induction dinner will be held on Saturday, April 30, as the university inducts two individuals and two teams.
Established in 1982, the Hall currently recognizes the accomplishments of 250 individuals and 29 teams during their time at Pacific. This year, the Hall will welcome Greg Koperek ’90, Daryl Hobbs ’91 and the 1972 and 1973 football teams into its hallowed space. As a part of the special evening, the Athletic Department will also honor this year’s Stagg Award winners — Carl Kammerer ’61 and Fa’tafa Jefferson ’97. The biennial event will be hosted in conjunction with the University of the Pacific football reunion, slated for April 29-30, 2022. The induction event, which will take place on Saturday, April 30, in the Janssen-Lagorio Gymnasium, will begin with a social hour at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards ceremony at 7:00 p.m.
