TIGERS POST 3.25 SEMESTER GPA AS DEPARTMENT, CONTINUE TO THRIVE ACADEMICALLY

Placing 109 student-athletes on the Dean’s List Honor Roll, the University of the Pacific Department of Athletics recorded a grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 in the Fall 2023 semester to highlight another highly successful term academically.

The cumulative GPA of all athletics teams on campus sits at a 3.27. The Tigers garnered 42 student-athletes with a perfect 4.0 GPA for the term.

“Our student-athletes continued to display a level of academic excellence this semester that has become a standard here,” said director of athletics Adam Tschuor. “This impressive performance in the classroom is a credit to our student-athletes, our student-athlete services team, our coaches and our amazingly collaborative institutional academic services team and faculty. I am proud of the commitment all of these individuals have made to academic achievement and success.”

Beach volleyball notched the highest women’s team GPA with a 3.62 and 80 percent of their roster earned a spot on the Dean’s Honor List. Men’s tennis tallied the highest men’s team GPA with a 3.62 and half of their squad was distinguished on the Dean’s Honor List.

The men’s golf program carries the highest team cumulative GPA with a 3.66. Pacific cross country/track & field garners a 3.49 team cumulative GPA.
